전통적인 미사곡 중에서 가장 많이 불리는 네 곡을 뽑아 길지 않도록 만든 곡입니다. 한국적인 선율과 장단, 리듬을 활용하여 한국적인 느낌이 많이 날 수 있도록 만들었으며, 무반주와 피아노를 번갈아 사용하여 다양한 느낌을 나타낼 수 있도록 하였습니다. 한국적인 요소에 덧붙여 현대적인 화성을 사용하여 연주할 때 곡의 내용을 잘 전달할 수 있도록 작곡하였습니다.
