미사 곡 중 두 번째 곡인 Gloria로 하나님의 영광을 찬양하는 곡입니다. 영광과 존귀받으시기 합당하신 하나님을 찬양하는 첫 곡으로 시작해서 세상의 죄를 지신 어린양, 하나님의 아들을 노래하는 두 번째 곡과 주님만 거룩하시다는 세번째에 이어 성부, 성자, 성령께 영광과 거룩을 찬양하는 마지막 곡으로 연결됩니다. 모두 무반주로 되어있는 곡입니다.

This work is the second movement of a Mass setting, Gloria, proclaiming the glory of God.
Scored entirely a cappella, the composition unfolds in four connected sections: it begins with praise to the God who alone is worthy of glory and honor, continues with a declaration of the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, affirms that the Lord alone is holy, and concludes with a doxology offering glory and holiness to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
